Wes Navis Trucking was founded in August of 1955 as an agricultural lime spreading business. In 1958 Wes added trucks and started to haul local loads of sand and gravel. Along with his wife Rachel, Wes Solely operated Wes Navis Trucking until 1977, when his son Dennis added the excavating and grading division. W&D Navis Inc was formed on January 1, 1982 by combining the two separate companies into one construction service company. Today, W&D Navis, Inc. is owned and operated by Dennis and his wife Linda. In April of 2002 W&D Navis Inc became involved in dimensional stone production and natural stone mining. The customers served range from the do-it-yourself landscaper to the large stone production companies. W&D Navis Inc has secured several quarries for mining and will be able to supply current and future customers for many years to come. W&D Navis, Inc.
